Results vary depending on material composition, color, thickness, and surface coating.

This 5W blue diode laser is primarily designed for non-metal engraving. Certain painted, coated, anodized, or specially treated metal surfaces may produce visible markings, but direct engraving of untreated bare metal should not be assumed.

Yes. The compact aluminum-alloy frame features a foldable design that allows the laser head to fold down when not in use. This makes the machine easier to store, transport, and use in smaller workspaces, home offices, or craft rooms.

Always wear the included protective laser glasses and use the protective shield during operation. Never look directly into the laser beam, never leave the machine unattended while operating, and always use adequate ventilation or fume extraction when engraving.

Yes. Never engrave PVC, vinyl, chlorine-containing plastics, unknown plastics, pressurized containers, or materials that may release toxic or corrosive fumes. Always confirm that a material is laser-safe before starting a project.
